33 years of family-run creativity, curiosity and adventure.
Welcome to The White House – our family-run day nursery and out-of-school club in West Bridgford’s town centre. We provide a high standard of childcare - weekdays, from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, for children aged 0 to 8 years.
We were the first setting in Nottinghamshire to be awarded the NDNA's Millie's Mark for outstanding paediatric care.
"A place that feels like home"
In 1988, in a cosy white house in the heart of West Bridgford, we set out to create a thoughtful day care facility, where eventually, our own children would learn and thrive.
Thirty-three years later, and with the help of our fantastic team, we are still committed to helping Nottingham’s little minds grow – with oodles of creativity, curiosity and adventure.
Our core team of staff have been with us for over 15 years, offering continuity, whilst blending this with fresh approaches from our newer team members.
"I couldn’t recommend the White House more highly. The team genuinely care about the children and the parents too, always thinking of new ways to stimulate their little minds. Forest school has been a great addition to the schedule and the other activities such as Spanish, Zumbini, yoga add a great variety for the kids. I also love the parent link app with all the photos, next steps and summary reports too."

How will my child learn?
In 33 years of childcare, it's safe to say we've picked up lots of techniques in helping children grow - however no single approach fits every child.
We take pride in keeping up with childcare trends and studies, drawing inspiration from amazing frameworks like Forest School, The Curiosity Approach and the use of Loose Parts – and we always keep fun at the heart of our learning.
We trust our instincts and treat every child as an individual, because we know that's what helps our children flourish into confident young minds, ready to take on their next step.
