WORLD BOOK DAY - MARCH 2010
Don't forget our "Sponsored Listen" during the week 1st to 5th March! This is linked to Usborne Books to raise money for more books within the Nursery. Please see the March Nursery News or pop into the office!
CONGRATULATIONS TO TESSA (AND DEAN)
Lorenzo finally arrived after 41 hours of labour when Tessa's water's broke 3 weeks early. He weighed 6lb 4 1/2 oz arriving in the late hours of Thursday 28th January 2010. Tessa and Lorenzo are doing well and should be out of hospital over the weekend. He joins the family as a brother for Lucia - our warmest wishes go to them all!
SWINE FLU INFORMATION
WE CONTINUE TO ASK FOR SUPPORT FROM PARENTS AND STAFF BY:
Keeping contact details up to date
Staying away if you or family members have flu-like symptoms AND informing us as soon as possible of this.
Following government guidelines on hygiene
Work together with the Nursery by implementing a "NO RISK" policy - if your child has an unusually high temperature or presents flu-like symptoms please do not bring your child in
WE WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW OUR OPERATIONAL PLAN AND STRICT HYGIENE PROCEDURES REGARDING HANDWASHING AS WELL AS THE "CATCH IT, BIN IT, KILL IT" PROCEDURES AND:
Implementing hand sanitisers for anyone coming in through the front door
Removal of cuddly/soft toys in the short term, which could harbour bacteria
Isolate a child with unusually high temperatures or present flu-like symptoms unti a parent can collect them
DO YOU THINK YOUR CHILD HAS SWINE FLU? Do they have a HIGH TEMPERATURE (38 or above)? and TWO of the following symptoms?
